E-Z-GO announces new fleet sales rep in southern California

E-Z-GO Company announced that Scott A. Stevens has joined the company as a fleet sales representative for southern California. Stevens, a lifelong member of the golf industry, will serve golf facilities in metropolitan San Diego and the Palm Springs area.

Stevens comes to E-Z-GO after nearly eight years at Rain Bird, managing the company’s golf irrigation business in California, Arizona, Nevada and Hawaii. Stevens, 43, has worked in golf since age 12, when he started caddying in his home state of Washington. His golf-industry career was interrupted only by a six-year stint in the U.S. Navy, during which Stevens served in Operation Desert Storm. Stevens is a graduate of California State University, Chico.

“I am honored to join E-Z-GO, given its reputation as a leader in the golf industry and its long history of supporting the sport of golf,” Stevens said. “It will be nice to work again with some old friends and familiar faces at courses throughout southern California.”

“It is always exciting when we are able to hire an experienced golf-industry professional of Scott’s caliber to the E-Z-GO team,” said Michael R. Parkhurst, vice president, golf for E-Z-GO. “I look forward to watching him serve our customers and grow our business in the area.”
