Exmark adds 60-inch Quest S-Series ZTR

With the introduction of a new 60-inch Quest S-Series model, Exmark has significantly raised the bar on the productivity potential of its most affordable zero-turn riding mower model.

Exmark Director of Marketing, Daryn Walters, said the largest Quest S-Series machine features the company’s fabricated and welded Series 2 cutting decks.

“Fabricated cutting decks are stronger, stiffer and more durable than stamped steel cutting decks. That’s why they’re the choice of landscape professionals across the country.”

The 4-inch deep, full-floating Series 2 cutting deck features an easy to use foot operated single-point height adjustment system. Exmark’s maintenance-free sealed bearing blade spindles are designed to deliver long life with zero maintenance.

An innovative, high-strength steel unibody frame is at the foundation of every Quest model. The frame design places the operator and major components lower, with better mass centralization for better handling and increased stability. Quest S-Series models also feature a high-back comfort seat with spring suspension to reduce impact and vibration reaching the operator. Operator controls are adjustable for both height and reach, and the seat adjusts fore/aft, making the Quest easy to use for operators of virtually any size.

The 60-inch Quest S-Series model is powered by Exmark’s 708cc twin-cylinder engine, which was designed from the ground-up as a zero-turn mower engine. The dual-barrel carburetor and governor tuning deliver quicker response for more power precisely when it’s needed.

The commercial features of the Exmark engine include cast iron cylinder liners, a no-tools quick drain oil change system and an innovative air intake design that reduces dust and debris build-up with a constant flow of pre-screened air. The design of the air box cover and air filter virtually eliminates the possibility of an incorrectly installed filter allowing engine-killing dust or debris into the engine.

Quest S-Series machines feature a standard tow hitch for increased versatility, and a reinforced steel engine guard for added protection. A digital hour meter makes it easier to track machine usage and service intervals.

In addition to the new 60-inch model, Exmark also offers the Quest S-Series in 34-, 42- and 50-inch models. It also offers a steering wheel equipped version – the Quest S-Series Front Steer – in 42- and 50-inch cutting decks. The Quest E-Series, Exmark’s most affordable zero-turn riding mower, is also available in 42- and 50-inch models.
