Landmark Turf & Native Seed is pleased to announce it has hired Cody Gyllenberg as its newest service and sales team member.
In his new role, Gyllenberg will focus on sales and business development for all of Landmark’s seed products and markets including native, reclamation and rangeland, lawn and landscape, golf, and sports turf.
Gyllenberg’s experience in the agriculture industry began at an early age while working as a farm operations manager for the family farm. Additionally, he was also a mechanic and in sales and service for the family’s industrial equipment business. Both positions established a deep foundation in agriculture that led to pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in integrated plant science with a double major in field crop and turfgrass management from Washington State University. While attending school, Gyllenberg was a research assistant, in charge of greenhouse planting and growth of turf species, among other responsibilities.
“Following graduation, Cody jumped right into the seed business with us and he has already been involved in our research, production, logistics, sales and customer service,” said RJ Schmitt, co-owner/CFO and Spokane operations manager at Landmark Turf & Native Seed. “He has a passion for agriculture, turf, and the seed business—we’re thrilled to have him on the team.”
