Crary Industries, Inc., manufacturer of ECHO Bear Cat outdoor power equipment, has released the full family of high-wheeled trimmers. The HW (High Wheeled) line of trimmers is offered worldwide through the authorized ECHO Bear Cat dealer network.
“We’re excited to launch this new line of trimmers to the market. We’ve worked hard to incorporate key features that our customers were looking for, while maintaining the quality and durability they expect from ECHO Bear Cat,” said ECHO Bear Cat Business Unit Director, Tim Martin.
The HW family of trimmers is available with two different engines. The HWXB, HWSB and HWTB are powered by a Briggs & Stratton 675 EXi series 163cc engine. The HWXH features a Honda GCV 160cc engine. ECHO Bear Cat carefully selected these engines to be able to provide the power and torque necessary to cut through tough grass and weeds.
HW models are easy to maneuver in tough terrain with heavy-duty, sealed bearings, 15-inch wheels. The trimmers are designed with an adjustable, ergonomic handlebar system and a foam padded grip for less fatigue while operating.
The HWSB is a self-propelled model with a smooth 3-speed transmission. The HWSB offers comfortable operating speeds of 1, 1.5, and 2 mph and is an easy-to-use option for many terrains.
The HWXB and HWXH models boast an offset frame design feature that allows the body of the trimmer to pivot to the left or right up to 7.5 degrees or 2 inches. This tool-less mechanism allows the 24-inch cutting swath to extend even farther beyond the left or right wheels for trimming close to fences, retaining walls, foundations and other obstacles. The cutting height can be adjusted by simply flipping over the trimmer head disk.
The HWTB model offers offset trimming and incorporates variable tilt angles of 5o, 10o and 13o to trim and edge along fences, barriers, curbs, and other obstructions.
All HW models come standard with 20-inch pre-cut .155” diameter CrossFire trimmer line. Optional .175” diameter CrossFire trimmer line is also available. Additional quantities of both of these can be purchased in 10-packs, 1-pound donuts and 3-pound spools.
The HW trimmer series will continue to offer familiar ECHO Bear Cat options and accessories such as the 14 inch Sabre Tooth cutting blade, 14 inch Triple Blade Brush Cutter, Nylon Blade kit, ProLine Trimmer Head and No Spark Mow Ball.
