Koch Turf and Ornamental continues efforts to help its customers grow their businesses through science-based enhanced efficiency fertilizer technologies, including Duration CR controlled-release fertilizer.
On November 15, Koch Agronomic Services completed the sale of its Sylacauga, Ala., production facility to Harrell’s Coating Solutions, LLC, a subsidiary of Harrell’s, LLC. As part of the agreement, Harrell’s obtained rights to the Polyon technology and trademarks in the U.S., Costa Rica and the Caribbean.
Koch Turf and Ornamental is retaining all rights it currently has to Duration and the rest of its enhanced efficiency fertilizer portfolio including Uflexx, Umaxx, XCU, Nitroform, Nutralene, Nitamin and Hydrexx.
Duration CR will be manufactured by Harrell’s for Koch Turf and Ornamental at the Sylacauga facility according to Koch’s strict quality guidelines and specifications.

Duration CR is a patented and durable polymer-coated technology that gradually and efficiently releases nutrients. The result is the consistent metering of nutrition that lasts for weeks – or even months – with fewer applications.
